The "Blue Willow" pattern has been produced by many factories in several countries, but originated in England in the late 1700s. It is still being made.

The pattern is named for its depictions of willows (among other things) in typically Chinese landscapes.

According to the 1998 "Kovels' Antiques & Collectibles Price List" (Three Rivers Press), a footed, seven by nine inch teapot is valued at $45.

Hope this helps, Liza Montgomery
