For anyone who misses this live hearing, you missed a much more candid Bennet; he responded to the consultants who reported on the over-confidence in some of our international allies on their Y2K readiness.

Bennet acknowledged that over-confidence was a sign of lack of information when he responded by saying that it seems the more you learn about Y2K, the more frightening it is.

I wish he had been that forthright at the big Senate Y2K press Conference where he represented the whole event as a "bump in the road".
