Found this web site quite by accident and think that residents of Sonoma County could be served if those with knowledge in areas of concern were encouraged to share with others. The Community y2k Forums seem to be so reassuring that nothing will happen here...maybe a few gliches with no long lasting effect. It also seems that many do not have any knowledge of y2k and its' possible consequences. How about advertising this site in our local newspaper and on our local television? An annnoucement in church bulletins is another way to let people know about this site where people can share their concerns and ideas. Let's not be scared of y2k but let us not put our heads in the sand and be caught unprepared. I think everyone ought to be prepared for anything....earthquakes and weather related problems are always possible. Information to and from real people (not the government spins) seems to be the most helpful information around these days. y2k is going to happen and will in some way have its' effect....let us not be scared, rather let us be prepared. We can learn from one another.
