greenspun.com : LUSENET : Loudoun Symphony : One Thread

Dear Sir/madam

I am looking for a scholarly article on thework by Oldrick Pulkert in establishing that hadyn was indeed the composer of this 18th century MS found by him in 1961 and any other relevant information about this work.I would be pleased if you could give me any pointers.

With best wishes

Hi Sam,

You might want to try a general search engine (like AltaVista at http://www.altavista.com). I came up with a lot of pages that contain 'Pulkert' and Haydn, so the information you seek should be there.

Good luck!

Dear Mr. Childs:

I have no musical abilities, talents, and very knowledge of the subject. I am, hpwever, very much interested in the history of my ancestors. I am the great grandson of Franz Pulkert who immigrated to Baltimore, Maryland, USA in the last half of the 1800s. I would greatly appreciate any and all information that you could provide on Oldrich Pulkert.

Sincerely,
