I came across the following post on the Kitco forum (www.kitco.com) by a poster with the handle of "mozel". The subject is "camps" that are being built. I do not know what to make of it in terms of it being 'for real' or not, but it sure is one heck of a read. (It was posted on March 17, 1999 at 13:26 so if you want to check the entire post you can go there yourself and enter in this period for the archive. They do not have threads, they have ongoing discussions that are all on the one screen and divided into pre-set time intervals. a short list of camps you can visit. These camps have armed guards, surveillance systems, and many fences with the barbed wire pointing IN.

1. PEARBLOSSOM, CALIFORNIA: Located at the intersection of Ave 116 and the Pearblossom Highway, this is a full-service facility, complete with gas chambers, moat, machine gun towers, and roving armed patrols. Visit at your own risk. If you do decide to see this one, you will be descended upon by some very mean fellows, who will get your ID and license, then monitor you.

2. FILMORE, CALIFORNIA: Located on highway 126, this at first glance looks like an orange grove and is located on the north side of the highway. It sports guard centers, three-count em-three sets of fences, all pointing in, and some very nasty armed men who tell you to "mind your own business." This camp is huge.

3. SANTA PAULA, CALIFORNIA: This is a holding camp, designed as a stock-yard type of facility for those rounded up in the early sweeps.

4. VALENCIA, CALIFORNIA: This is one of the largest camps ever constructed and measures some two miles by three miles, using the reservoir at the intersection of the 5 and 405 freeways as a cover. New buildings, armed guards, new roads, and many hundreds of buildings for housing the damned.

5. GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA: Right behind Brand Park, take the 5 interstate to Western Ave, then head north up the hill till you arrive at the park. Then take the road-by foot-by the doctor's house on the northwestern part of the park. Proceed up the hill to you reach the reservoir, which is in fact, a holding facility. When we were there last, there were five armed guards with M16s walking around.

Dear friends,

Recently, I sent out to the various news media an extremely small list of Concentration Camps recently built by your United States Government. As it happens, very few journalists acted upon the information and shared it with listeners/viewers/readers. Of course, once the information was made public, I've now become slandered, attacked, and called all sorts of names and the like. How interesting it is that when we bring truth to our world, the messenger is killed, even if symbolically. Many of us in the media have been aware of these hideous camps since their inception. It only takes a look at the history of this century to know what will happen in them once they are populated. The heart shudders at such knowledge but ignoring it won't make it go away. The only answer is to get the information out there in the world and make our elected government answer. I've personally visited these camps and have taken pictures. They are REAL. They are manned. They have moats, motion sensors, inner berms to hide the main complexes, guards at the gates, electric gates, processing centers, and of course, high fences with razor wire and barbed pointing inward - not outward - but inward to KEEP PEOPLE IN. The larger facilities are called golf courses or water treatment plants. When was the last time you saw a golf course ( Portland, Oregon ) with armed guards carrying M16s? Why do the larger facilities have smokestacks? Ever see a crematorium? The smaller facilities are usually holding facilities, obviously designed for the short-term roundups prior to the hapless souls being shipped off to their final destination somewhere else. You have to know that it was never my intention to uncover this information to frighten anyone nor to get publicity, as so many claim. As my readers are well aware, I stumbled upon this stuff in research for a new book. I have a family and want to see them grow up and they want to have a father that is alive, not dead. Reporting this type of information has made me very unpopular with the government and I've been warned many times by the FBI to 'mind my own business.' Unlike many of my contemporaries, I've chosen to research these camp claims for myself. I HAD to see them with my own eyes. They do exist. But the real question that needs to be asked - and asked fast - is why.

Why are they being built? Who are they for? Why does the government deny their existence? A friend of mine and I discovered 32 camps in just one county in Colorado alone. You can drive right up to them. However, the Department of Corrections in Colorado, the Marshall's Office, the County Sheriffs office, and the Federal agencies in Colorado all claim there is nothing at these sites except the lonesome prairie. That's just a flat out lie. Because of the staggering amount of mail I've received on this, my friends in the media - what few there are who have the guts to print the truth - have allowed me to answer a myriad amount of questions regarding the camps. No one - not a single person - has reported this information on the evening news nor in their newspapers. Most of these questions are from the Internet by people who have read the research material and it is their questions that are being answered.

All of these camps seem to be in California. There have been rumors of ClubFeds in case of a deluge of illegal immigration (even more than normal) for some time.

Is there any evidence of a purpose other than to handle an over- supply of illegals?

Valencia (location #4) is north of LA, but the intersection of the 5 and 405 freeways is in south Orange County, over 70 miles from Valencia. The 5 freeway does run near Valencia, and I have seen a number of military trucks in the area on occasion; could there be a mistake concerning which freeway intersects with the 5??

Anyone else near any of the alleged campsites? Are they on the internet reservation system yet (I think Yosemite is already booked this year)??

There was a thread not too long ago (don't remember which) about an article where either a Government Official or a National Guard member was talking about sheltering/relocating people - up to 300,000 if memory serves - and I remember posting how the heck are they going to do that logistically, and where are these places - I used a sports stadium in my analogy for comparison. Was it on worldnetdaily? Anyone remember which thread that was?

The reason I decided to post this stuff was a result of that - in other words, a possible connection with Y2K civil unrest. As unlikely as this seems to me, it fits in that respect. Still, lets try to get some much needed facts.

Maybe he's a public school graduate, or maybe this is just someone having a little fun." At any rate, it falls in line with the subject. We live in strange times. Suffice it to say I am a captain (not my actual rank, but at least that) in the National Guard; but I can't tell you which state, as that information surely will be the quick road to my demise. I have faithfully served my country in Desert Storm and Panama, both events having nothing to do with the National Security safety of this Great Country of ours.

My wife has the same disease I have, and the doctors are still telling me I have the flue. Does a flue last eight years? We'll get to that later. We both are under the age of forty, but we no longer look young. Nothing can change my mind that my superiors - so-called officers and gentlemen - have murdered us.

One of my duties requires me to train through rotation with other units, the ongoing guard staff of various clandestine prisons that many American over-sight committees do not know exist. These prisons, or "camps" as we call them, were built for no other purpose than for the common American taxpayer. I know. I helped build three of them.

Somewhere along the way, I have lost my soul in the process. I know for a fact that this government of ours plans to turn America into a wasteland of proportions that stagger any imagination. It is the Pentagon and Wall Street's ambition to create no less than a slave state by the year 2001. They will do it too-with the media's help-because in many ways, they have already succeeded in destroying our civil liberties and making the middle-class an ancient idea.

How can I say these things? From where do I speak? A few years ago, I was called to a meeting in Fort Mead to join the augmenting of a unit which would report directly to FE-A in the event of national disaster. Did we discuss earthquakes, tornadoes, or flooding? Not on your life. After obtaining several new written security clearances and after having signed no less than eleven documents-all giving away my life and liberty should I ever speak out - I was let in on the following plan.

Before I out give out the structure of this plan, I beg anyone who reads this document to share with as many people as possible what I consider our last, best chance to reverse the horrible course this country is going to take in the next twenty-four months. The outline is as I remember it, as everything was verbal-nothing was ever written down. Troop movements, orders, and materiel was all coded with words that meant something other than what they were. For example, if we needed 150 new prison cells, we didn't call them prison cells. They became "food units, IV" Given a code sheet, we could then interpret and act upon any written order.

Most were email in our net and were to be destroyed once the order was carried out. This was routine policy and is still in effect today.

1. Establish a network of prisons to deal with the estimated twenty million Americans who will not go along with the New America. This new country will no longer resemble the USA we all grew up in. It will be a dictatorship with institutionalized and mandated slave labor.

2. Schools will no longer teach actual history. The schools of the future will mainly be warehouses for the young. They will teach the party system: that family is dead, and that work is good. Discovering this point made me so violently ill I became incontinent.

3. Voting will be suspended. Many of us already know that the American vote is a sham. Officers above the rank of Major are well aware of who gives the orders in this country. Not the White House, but the CIA. The White House and its changing occupant are merely the visible servant of something much darker and the President's sole purpose is to create laws which lower real income, create war states, and keep the military machine running with ever-expanding budgets. I know. I was there at many meetings where foreign policy was was dictated by four-star generals.

4. Gun owners will have their guns taken, by force if necessary, before many of the plan's points are made operational.

5. The enforcer's of the plan will be NATO and UN forces working in cooperation with the US Military and headed by the product from the intel groups and the FEMA.

6. Use the lists compiled by the FBI and NSA and round up all those men and women who have ever showed any inkling whatsoever in the constitution or civil rights. This especially includes gun-owners and religious persons.

7. Using lists obtained from grocery stores and banks, individuals with income spent in stockpiling of goods will also be rounded up and their property absconded.

8. The Teachings of Hinduism, Christianity, and Is-am will be considered anti-American. Pastors, preachers, and holy men and women are to be rounded up for "re-education."

9. The establishment of work colonies and the takeover of the media by the Pentagon.

10. Free trade of stocks will be frozen and the assets of many individuals outright taken away.

11.The creation of mass crematoriums in Arizona, Texas, and Washington. The dead will no longer be buried, but will be sent to a place where they will be "cleansed."

12. The creation of a national police force with complete power. This point, as with many others, has already occurred and the force is now 80% operational.

Friends, there is little more than I can say, except to give you my promise that I will constantly provide as much facts as possible to lead you to the truth. You want camp locations? I'll get them out. You want dates and places, I get them too. G-d help us in our time of need.

It boggles the mind but at first read one thinks "this could be true"due to the libral/socialist agenda over the past few years. But remember this NO population in history has ever had the firepower of this nation. There are literally thousands of ex-seals, force recons, air commandos, rangers, delta force, green berets, and loyal to the constetution veterans the government has thoughtfully trained to teach others on the gracefull way to resist the above. If the Jews had 1/10 the firepower we now have , the holocaust would have never occured. There are certainly more civilitans than femas and un types, and should be given the same considerations given the british in 1776. A note here - I have been the backup system administrator for an Army facility, and the email is backed up every night. Everywhere. AND YOU CANNOT ERASE THOSE TAPES BY FEDERAL LAW! This is scary and it all ties together. What ever happened to Michael New who was court martialed for refusing to wear the United Nations Uniform? His oath was to serve the United States, not the United Nations. Remember the Heritage Lands programs where areas were to be deeded to the United Nations? There was a big stink about proposed Heritage lands in Tennessee and Florida and other places. Did that happen? It was set up that it would happen automatically unless Congress vetoed the idea. About a month ago I saw pictures of UN vehicles (humvees, trucks etc.) on public roads in the U S on the Internet. I was stationed at Lackland AFB in Texas in 1962 and even then they were training foreign pilots at that facility to be sent back to their home country after training was completed. Some were from Saudi Arabia, an ally and that made sense. The article at the top of this thread mentioned 700 camps with the razor wire sloping in to keep people in. I also recall reading about the New World Order 20 or 30 years ago with a proposed implementation date of 2000 and I wondered why it was planned so far in the future as many of the planners would be dead before it actually happened. Then we read that Clinton went to Russia during his college days, that missile secrets were given to the Chinese, Chinese campaign contributions were given to Clinton, defense appropriations were drastically reduced to the extent that spare parts are not available, terrible morale in the military, etc. etc. etc. Could it be that the 1-1-00 disaster was planned deliberately by the military when they made this decision to use a 2 digit year to deliberately disrupt the country and make it easier for a revolution? Sound far fetched? Maybe or maybe not. Are these facilities prisons, internment camps, extermination camps or what? Will martial law be imposed? Will guns be taken away? Will the second amendment be ignored? I suspect that the government is scared of all of the patriotic ex military people that would not accept orders to carry out these activities. Is this why there are so many foreign troops here? They would be more willing to shoot American citizens. It is hard to believe that this could happen but it is a possibility. The people have been lied to so much and the Congress does not protect us either. They would sell their vote for campaign contributions so they can stay in power and some of the true patriots get ridiculed and defeated by vote fraud in the elections such as Bob Dornan in California who was elected by hundreds of illegal imigrants who the Democrats hurriedly registered to vote illegally. It is not a pretty picture. Any patriots who recognize what is happening are ridiculed as wackos and crackpots. Look at Waco, Ruby Ridge and the Murah building bombing. The credible testimony that ammonium phosphate fertilizer could not produce that kind of damage was ignored and the bombs attached to the building columns that did the major damage were also ignored. Wake up and smell the coffee. I do not like the legacy that this generation has given to our children. There was even an admission on the network news tonignt that marijunna does have some health benefits. This has been surpressed for 30 years. It is too bad that it is not available in pill form so that people do not have to get cancer to benefit from it. All of these threads do fit together. Think about it. Perhaps we need to retire most of the Congress that does not vote in the best interest of the American taxpayers.

Suppose some of these facilities are something that legitimately need a lot of security, given the high state of government concern over a terrotist strike in the US. Something like a California Aqueduct system pumping station. Just by coincidence, the first place mentioned in this post, the corner of Pearblossom Highway and Av 116 East is just that.

Since I first saw it in 1983 and wondered what it was, it has been and is still marked on my DeLorme map as an Aqueduct Pumping Station. The last time I saw it in 1992 it had the fences, armed guards and the open concrete aqueduct does look like a moat. I'll guess that since the "Critical Infrastructure Protection Act" was signed a few years back, that more armed guards and fences have gone up around such places.

I can't speak for every location mentioned and I'm not saying that no nefarious places exist. But I am saying that there are some cases of mis-identification occurring And those lead to lost credibility when the real thing is reported. Which makes me wonder: Who's doing the mis-identification, then trumpeting the news and are they doing it to destroy someone elses credibility?

Another radical right wing extremist document.

This article may sound like the plot of a strange movie, but it ain't Reality. True, the US is building prisons like it's nobody's business. True, many of them are in anticipation of a huge wave of Central Americans who illegally cross the border.

It's also true that the US military is trying to do things differently these days--to find a new mission now that the cold war is over, in theory. Clinton wants it to be "peacekeeping," acting as the world's policeman in dozens of countries. To do this requires support from the UN in order to legitimize it to our "friends" who supply us with cheap oil or cheap manufacturing.

Now I think this "global cop" strategy is pretty stupid, although not everyone agrees with me. Yet nearly all sensible people would not ascribe "conspiracy" to something that is more readily attributable to arrogance and stupidity, two commodities that never seem to be in short supply.

with that in mind, let me ask you this:

If y2k causes civil disruption in the cities, where are the authorities going to put those that they arrest? Prisons and jails are full to overcrowding. Prisoners are released early just to make room for new arrivals charged with more serious crimes. Even if urban disruptions turn out to be no more serious than those that occurred in reaction to the Rodney King verdict, the number of new prisoners would completely overwhelm our current ability to house them all.

My family is all taking gun training and we will be "packin' heat" on new-years eve. If any troops, whoever they may be, attempt to take us from our home we will shoot to kill, and more than likely end up getting shot to death our selves. But that is a far better outcome then being sent to some damned camp, regardless of wether they actually exist or not. I would rather die with my wife and kids then have us forcibly separated and never be able to see my family again. Far better to live in Gods kingdom forever.

Very strange.

There is a precedent for camps. During WWII many Japanese were rounded up and interred.

For Y2K? Who really knows. Seems sort of "out there" to me. But then, so does Y2K.

Humm. Theres a population of approximately 280 million souls in the U.S. What percentage are military, police, et. al.? What percentage of the total have guns? What percentage of the military, police, et. al. would NOT support citizen interment?

Curious. Somehow I feel like theyll be busier with emergency response rather than take-over plans. But, hey, stranger things have happened.

Got back-up, remote wilderness plans? (And intuitive guidance?)

It still doesn't prove anything much to me as far as what the purposes are, although it now seems that at least some of these type places actually do exist. Could be for various non-Y2K related reasons as cited by some of the posts. I don't think we will find out much more at this point.

Chris: I am also hoping that Hardliner and Robert put in their two cents, as well as Drew because of his background, since it is possible he may have heard something about this as the person claims to have "sent out to the various news media".

Words of iron, Rick - my plans too.

Diane, there are about 60 million people in the U.S. who own at least one gun. There are more than 250 million guns in private hands. Between the armed forces and police agencies, there are maybe a million people. I figure at least half of them won't go along with any overt Nazi measures - at least not if they've looked at the odds.

What worries me the most is a piecemeal divide-and-conquer technique being used... same as was used by the Nazis to divide Jew against Christian, Protestant against Catholic. Unfortunately, most people don't think for themselves, instead letting the media make up their minds for them. This has led to the demonization of the various patriotic groups. A small minority within them has racist or terrorist leanings, and the media has lied, extrapolating that into ALL patriots and militia groups as being racists or terrorists.

Most of the people who comprise these militias are scared... scared of what they see happening to their country as government keeps turning the screws tighter all the time. Most of them are middle-aged folks who should be enjoying the fruits of their labors and their grandchildren, instead of running around on weekends training for an encounter that will most likely leave them dead. Damn right they're afraid that the government wants to disarm them... the government has time and again proven that forces within it are thieves, liars and murderers. Once disarmed, they can do with us as they please, and considering their track record, I'd rather not leave myself and my posterity to their tender mercies.

If enough of my relatives had known what was coming, had been armed, and had the willingness to die fighting instead of being gassed, there would have been no Holocaust. Well, now we know. Now we are armed. All we need is a willingness to die fighting... or better yet, make the thugs in government die fighting.

After seeing the lead in message about containment camps (and other rumors of same elswhere),I live close enough to verify one of these locations, so I did. I went to the location in Glendale Ca, which I'm long familiar with. The area is sourounded by upper middle class neighborhoods, backing up to a pocket of wilderness area, where there are more neighborhoods on the far side of the foothill range. I took the hike up Brand Park, I've been there many times. This is a water runoff control area for these foothills. There is a reservoir there, substantialy filled in with dirt. It is of course sourounded by chain link fence topped by barbed wire, slanted in. However the fence is only about 5 feet high and old and not in a maintained condition. Some of the barbed wire supports are rusted and fallen away. I talked to a venerable lifelong citzen of the area, 76 year old 'Charlie', he hikes around the area frequently collecting cans and such. He has been aquainted with all of the work crews over many years. I asked him if he'd ever seen any soldiers or guards in the area. NO was his answer. I hiked up about a mile and the road becomes a narrow service road, along which there are a few small work areas of pipes, dried foliage branches in dumpsters, etc. Nothing that would be in any way construed as a containment camp. It's not even a feasible area for that. This are has several small dams for flood control in the area, probably built during the Depression era. I also have a lifelong friend that works at the Pearblossom pumping plant mentioned in the list and having lived in that area also, can verify that it is part of the California aquaduct system. Seperating fact from fiction will certainly help us to deal with whatever comes up, and at least these two elements can be disproved as to the claims alluded to here.
