Whoever "Raven" is, there is no "Raven@deepwoods.com"

"Raven" should be a sufficiently courteous netizen to use his/her own proper e-mail address. I'm discarding an awful lot of mail inappropriately addressed to the deepwoods.com domain, where there is no "raven" listed as a valid e-mail recipient.

Is "raven" willing and/or able to be honest about his/her e-mail address in the future?

Carol,
Do you not know how to glean information from email headers?

Mr. Kennedy:

That's right. My most recently submitted question is quite serious and no joke. I hope nobody thinks it's SPAM. I only post when I feel it's necessary.

Dinosaur,
I think Carol has someone that is sending email to her in her email account....not having to do with posting on the forum.

I for one, appreciate hearing from all sides on the forum in posts.
Posting in the forum is fine, but having problems with anonymous email can be very annoying.

I told you I was computer illiterate & I was being truthful. When I first posted on this forum,I used my real name & address...but I noticed everyone used an alias. I wasn't sure why & figured it must not be safe to use your real name,so I made one up.Didn't I do it the way everyone else does? Do you use a fake name & correct email address? My real email address is JCclass69@aol. sorry if this was a problem....& by the way Carol Anne..that is my name also.(Carol Ann) I do have a question....if you do use your real name & email address, would it be possible for someone to locate you physically? Also, I think by my post....you could have figured out I was being honest & not trolling or whatever it was you thought i was doing.I guess this is why I don't post much.

Raven, that was a sweet and honest response. I use a bogus e-mail because I got tired of getting e-mails from kooks. I figure if someone wants to flame me, do it in front of everyone so they can make an ass out of themselves.

Raven

You can set up a free anon. e-mail account at Yahoo, Hotmail, or several other sites, and use that account here. This keeps people like Carol happy since you now have a valid e-mail address. It also keeps us happy, since we'll no longer receive "bounced" messages in our in-box when we reply to one of your threads. And you now have one place to see any answers to your posts here. You may have to try a few times to find an unused account at one of these sites. Also, remember to delete your mail once in a while, since most of these sites have a limit on the amount of mail you can keep. <:)=

Raven,

Two things. 1) CHANGE THE ADDRESS BY AT LEAST ONE CHARACTER!!! YOU GOT A REAL SITE THERE!!!!

2) Make sure that, if you DO use an e-alias, that you check the proper box to eliminate the auto foreward of answer posts. When you open up a thread, there is an option you need to turn off.
