Seeing how world events have changed rapidly in the past 2 days, do you think we will have shortages of food and other items? Will we be using our stash sooner than anticipated? Maybe those rumored 25 million body bags are for a war instead of Y2K. What are your thoughts?

Still to early to tell, of course, but it shows that even if Kosovo should temporarily "blow over", new events can happen extremely fast. Those still preparing better be aware. Its best to be prepared today, tomorrow is second best , waiting till summer or even next month could be a big mistake --- could already have been.

When the TV announced the bombing and the reaction of the people there to fill up their cars with gas, buy food etc. I wondered if any of them had prepared for Y2K or if they had heard of it and decided "no, it won't come here." Evidently most of them had heard that the bombing might come there but decided "no, it won't come here." Hum-m-m

What with the drought that will be here this summer in the great plains the bread basket of the world. Yes you will be using your stash much to early. There will be panic buying later this year, and food will be in short supply.
