Welcome to my Disaster Preparedness Site

As an Emergency Manager I am continually planning for potential disasters including: hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, nuclear power plant accidents, hazardous materials releases, terrorist attacks, and most recently, Year 2000 (Y2K) disruptions. The list of man-made and natural disasters is long and our planning efforts are intense. With 21 years in the fire service, EMS and emergency management at the local level, I am hoping to take my expertise global though this site.

My planning activities, presentations, and articles will be posted on the site for immediate dissemination to communities interested in emergency response and disaster preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery.
