Yes Y2K pro, it sure does show what sort of people are GI's. It shows that GI's verify information, and are carefull in reaching a conclusion. In case you didn't notice, this site debunks the notion that this is an internment camp. I hope you have researched y2k better then you did this.

Y2K you cause people to wonder about your motivation as well as your lack of research skill and intelligence. If you actually read the article you would find that it debunks the report of a "FEMA death camp."

You can take your foot out of your mouth now.

If I were one to generalize from a sample of one, this response from Y2K Pro would certainly be an opportunity. No such luck though. Just an inattentive, thoughtless post. Not the first, not the last.

Sorry, guys. I'm new here. What's G.I. stand for and it's meaning? Thanks.

GI=GetsIt(that is, one who believes Y2K requires carefull preparation). DGI=Doesn'tGetIt(that is, one who believes Y2K requires little or no preparation).

Hi June, see this thread for a look at some of the language used here. <:)=

First let me clarify...I do not think Amtrak is a concentration camp.....ok? Now, I will say this. I used to live in Beech Grove when these rumors were flying. The local Baptist church preached about it even. I went by to see it out of curiosity. Back in early nineties there was perimeter wire as described and video camera facing out to the roads to watch cars going by on the road. That was strange in itself. There were large windsocks for helicopter and alot of in and out helicopter goings and comings. Alot of people around the area were very concerned and frightened. I do not know what was going on or why. I do know that it was all cleaned up later on and given a much more normal appearance. The rumors then faded away. All I am saying is this...at one time things "looked" bad enough to start local rumors. Maybe things were embelished by others wanting it to be something..I don't know. Again...let me say, I don't think it was ever a detention type camp. But, I would like to know what was going on there when I lived there. It certainly wasn't business as usual. Any other ex Beechgrove residents or amtrak workers????
