Mr. Yourdon (and all) - About the recent cut-back on the "New Questions" page...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I do agree that going to 2/3 days will help performance, and "download time", and this does seem to be the average life-span of a thread these days. However, I find myself watching the "New (recent) answers" page more often, and this is still at 7 days. Should this also be cut-back to a 2/3 day period, since "This can take a little bit of time..."? I think this may have a better impact on performance. Any comments? <:)=

Hi Sysman,

IMO, a good addition would be a time (in addition to the date) of the message being posted. Then an entry screen could then be added (optional) where the date and time could be entered, and show only threads having messages later than those entered.
