Federal Reserve Y2K-OK, GAO reports

NEW YORK (AP) - The Federal Reserve Board's computers should be fine when Jan. 1, 2000, rolls around, according to a report released by the General Accounting Office on Monday.

Thanks, but that link is now outdated.

tr y this one

Headlines are misleading, read the fine print:

"But the Fed still has a way to go, the report continued, "before it is fully ready, ... such as completing validation and implementation of its internal systems and completing its contingency plans."

Just more of the same old B.S. spin. The guys that write these reports could have a prolific career in Used Car Sales.
