I think it is meant to be "survivalist issues".

Yeah, I read it -- one post didn't create a big enough sample for me to deduce why the separate thread was established and what, if anything, in the future should go into it.

I would guess, although I'm not the webmaster that whatever gets posted as a beginning thread goes eventually to the archives, called "old messages". Obviously no one responded. I hate when that happens. :)
