for over an hour now...there is no AT&T service into or out of area codes 510 and 925....2 large east bay area service areas.

very rare i'd say...especially in calm weather.

Too early to say anything. First we wait to see how long before its fixed, then hopefully we get to find out what went wrong. Wake us up again if you get any hard info that it was Y2K-related!
