Gem sites for do it yourselfers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have seen several "threads" on great do-it-yourself projects. Thought I would share some links to sites with plans, kits, diagrams, etc. Do not vouch for their quality, but thought them interesting. Would anyone else be willing to share their "gems" with me?

Cosmo Forums have many useful and interesting projects as well as much info on food storage and Y2K survival. I spoke to proprietor by phone, he is very knowledgeable and helpful. Even though his site is free; I got his CD of this site which is well worth it and quicker than the net.

There's a million-and-one porn sites on the net, all popular with Do-It-Yourself-ers.

Ron,

Yeah, with as much time as people spend jerking off, it's now wonder the computers aren't fixed!

Geez - I thought this would be a good thread. No matter how old I get, I will never figure out the workings of the male thought process. Here, I thought y'all were thinking about bicycle powered washing machines and solar dehydrators.
