How does XP2 compare to TMAX 400? I hear that XP2 negatives loose contrast in time. Has anyone had this problem?

XP2 is chromogenic so is in essense a color film with no color dyes. Therefore it is not and cannot be made archivally stable. The loss in contrast may be fading caused by the dyes breaking down, as is the case with all color films.
