planes falling from the sky?

ERR not exactly but this does seem to be at least indirectly related to y2k.

A plane has already fell from the sky. A small plane in CA. crashed last year killing the pilot. He ran out of gas. Did he not have enough gas ? Or was it that air traffic control could not land him due to the new y2k compliant system was not working. Both were at fault. You call it.

Give me a break Scotty. Even the web site, that reported the plane crash, retracted their assertion that it was due to Y2K. Please read the original article and its subsequent analysis.

Maybe so Maria, who knows since he doesn't give any links......but doesn't it make you a wee bit nervous that software which was supposed to be usable in Nov. still doesn't work in May!! The problems in Chicago yesterday were real and very serious. That's twice this software has been implimented and twice it has caused problems.

Sorry flyaway I tried twice to get to the link and couldn't. I can't comment.

Sorry Maria, don't know why it isn't working. It is hot linked on a more recent post entitled Strike two for O'Hare. Someday I'll learn to hotlink!
