Grocery Shopping

I already know the answer to this, just interested in other peoples thoughts and opinions.

Why is it that for all my life whenever I have been grocery shopping that I see lots of people with shopping carts ranging from half-full to full?

Once you've thought about that one for a bit then ask yourself this:

Why do various agencies recommend anywhere from zero to 2 weeks of supplies?

Hint: I get paid once a fortnight and my brother gets paid once a month.

O and just to throw it in for a bit of a chuckle (well for me anyway) why do some toilet roll packs come with 16 toilet rolls in them? Don't you need only one? :-)

Hey Simon,

I guess you know because you asked these people? I wouldn't normally because some have guns and tasers and pepper spray and don't like nosy people...but here are a few reasons that I have had on occasion while shopping...

Possible answers:

I just started shopping and haven't finished filling the basket yet.

This is my second basket. I have a large family of 29 to shop for.

I am shopping for a campout for our scout group.

I live alone and don't need as much as others. Why don't they have smaller carts for us singles?

Mind your own business! HELP! HELP! AISLE THREE! THIS PERSON IS BOTHERING ME! HELP!

As to the toilet paper, well, you can't paper someone's house very well with just one roll. -)

Heh.

I had no need to ask anybody, because as per myself I stock up for the fortnight. That's right I buy enough supplies to last me a fortnight, I stock up and I'm prepared.

I do this every two weeks.

:-)
