Yes, I am! How much is it, and do you have any courses here in Central NY?? It sounds good!

Crono! If you're in new York City, get out fast and get out now! New York City is doomed in 2000!!!! You will not have a chance! Sell everything you've got and get out NOW!!!

Any trainings available in Iowa, and how much is it? Thanks

Susan -

Many thanks for all your hard work in educating folks re survival and Y2K. Unfortunately, the fee for your 4-day course exceeds my available funds for prep. One can only use what's to hand.

Smitty, he said CENTRAL NY. This is a FAR cry from NYC.

Crono- know where a little town called Waterville is?

For those of you in the Virginia and DC area who want to participate in an intensive 1-day seminar, you may be interested in this.

Carla Emery, author of The Encyclopedia of Country Living, will speak at a free special public forum and intensive seminar on Saturday morning, June 19, 1999.

The event will be held at the Rappahannock County Public Library in Washington, Virginia starting at 9:00 a.m.

Washington, Virginia is in the Blue Ridge (20 miles south of Front Royal, 70 minutes from the DC Beltway.

Carla Emery is a mother, speaker, and writer. Her publicly- acclaimed Encyclopedia of Country Living, is a basic reference work in the field of independent living and family food production ("goats and gardens").

In print for 25 years, this old-fashioned how-to manual and recipe book now has some 400,000 copies in print.

If you are interested in learning the homesteading, agricultural and animal husbandry skills that people knew 50 - 100 years ago, you will benefit from this program.

For more information call the library at 540/675-3679.

Walt,

I agree, this is worthwhile. I hope to make it to the Carla Emery event on the 19th.

Sincerely, Stan Faryna

Susan Conniry Hello Susan! You should post some basic material on your views on Y2K prep and leave a URL. There is a Timebomb prep archive and I will include the threads in with it. There are few places like yours where folks can learn survival and minimalist living techniques. Check it out if you would be interested. Bugging out

Hi Susan,

I heard your interview with North. Great stuff. The problem with us in the east is that it is difficult to get to you in San Diego. If you get enough interest out here...I could help you with a location. Maybe Tom Brown would let you use his place. There could be a lot of attendance if it was held in the Balt/Wash area as well.
