Tony - A true Story:

When Jean Paul 11 was visitng NYC he himself asked how to address Mayor Koch at the time he was in office. The answer was Your Honour.

When our Pope was met by Mayor Koch both men'e eyes met and Koch said " Your Emminance " The Pope responded by saying " Your Higness." Koch being the King of NYC in office.

Both men laughed and enbraced one another. Koch asked if he would like a drink after a long journey. The Pope replied " I don't drink during office hours." " Then when would you like to settle down and have adrink? " " That is difficult to answer for you see it is a twenty-frou hour job."

You see even Christ had a sense of humour which many don't.

Peace And Well Being.

Elizabeth,

This is a good place to ask those kinds of questions; there are many good people here who really know their faith well and can explain almost anything. And me, I love research, and I would be happy to help you find reliable answers. John, Fred, Eugene, Chris, Christian, and others are all excellent at helping people understand Christianity.

Unfortunately, there are a handful of people on this board who will try to confuse you even more. Then, when you are sufficiently confused, they will use the word "simple" to describe their own (non- Catholic) religion, as an advertising pitch.

In that case, beware the easy path. Never trust anything just because it is easier.

But the genuine Catholics on this board can help lighten the burden a little bit. They have a real knack for making things easy enough to understand.

And if we can't help you? Don't be satisfied with that. Definitely, talk to your pastor, and don't be fraid to ask him the hard questions. For every part of our Catholic religion, there is an answer, for everything is rooted intimately in Jesus Christ.
