Very neat composition. Exposure's about perfect too.

Really nice. The downed palm looks so skeletal. The reflections are wonderful.

Peter: nice photo, but where is the snake?

The moorhen and the dead tree are a great subject. Exposure is right on (the light is a little too contrasty for my taste) but the back- and foreground are distracting. A wide open lens might have helped. (I took the liberty and smudged your photo to leave only moorhen and tree focused.) I don't know whether I can upload it here as in the rest of photo net - if not I'll email it to you.

I think the reflection and wood make this a more interesting image than your recent post at photocritique.
