My internet provider attributes only dynamical IP adresses.

How can I see this IP adres when I'm online? I use Win98

Under Win9x use the following program:

winipcfg.exe

You can find this file in your Windows directory

I have found some ppl have that file deleted for some reason from their machines, so here is another way. A lot of games recently released, and for that matter most software titles designed for over the net use, will tell you the IP address that the machine has. Refer to your software's manual for more details.

download the freeware IPApub.exe from http://www.topqualityfreeware.com/ this little tools shows your ip adress on screen all the time, more; it can publish this adress after every change from your provider; in a html page on your website for friends to find so they can connect to your workstation ( or ftp server )
