I would like to use B & W film, then send it for precessing and receive the usual B & W pictures but in addition have the pictured digitized on a disk. Is there anyone doing this?

I know that there, at the "States", Kodak introduced a few (maybe 5 or 6 ) years ago, Photo CD kiosks where you can leave your film cartridge (negs or slides), prints, or disk, and then receive your PhotoCD with the digitized pictures at three (3) resolutions, low, medium and high, the last supposedly for the option of printing such file from your computer to a personal desktop printer, or to be printed by a service bureau

They have developed a new line of papers and inks for inkjet printers, and claim a 60-70 year display life under normal conditions. I called them about this a couple of days ago, and one of their reps said they are also working on a set of quad-tone inks for Epson printers.

It looks like digital black-and-white is arriving.
