Response to pope in romas

To my scant knowledge the is answer is no. During the time when the Cardinals are electing a new Pope I believe at one time the Jesuits were protectors of the church. Thus Black Pope : Black Robes . Any further information would surely have to come from elsewhere. Very good question though. - Peace - Jean B.

My understanding, although I have not had a chance to look into in in detail, is that there have been about 7 or 8 popes of north African descent so that they were pretty dark skinned.

I agree with the dark skins of the Popes for the tribes of the southern italian cities would have surely intermingled with lovely dark skined ladies. Does the question thought refer to black africans? We Shall see that one day I hope. Jean B.
