Greenhouse Suggestions for Winter

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Hi. I didn't have time to plant a garden this summer but I plan on building a greenhouse by November. I live in southern Calif and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for best things to grow/be transferred from greenhouse to yard with maximum nutrition value per sq. ft. as a priority. Any responses appreciated.

Prep your garden soil *now*, get it tilled and work in amendments, compost, superphosphate etc. Then it will be good and mellow by the time you want to plant. In southern California you practically have a year round season. Plan on cool weather crops for winter, like the cole crops cabbages broccoli, and peas. Then the warmer ones. Thank you kindly for the link momma. And as for you zoob, I'll break out a couple of seeds from my plastic film container in your honor ;-)
