greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread

You may have heard of Camp Why-Too-Ka. We're a site on Yahoo! that offers Y2K humor and now RECIPES for those of you out there stocking your pantries for the rollover to the millennium. Helga, our camp cook, has been busy creating recipes which will tempt nouveau-survivalist and hardcore prepper palates alike. These are real recipes, which we've taste-tested and they're free. Just go grab them off the site at http://www.campy2k.com Each offering is for a complete dinner menu, including dessert. The recipes are easy to fix, utilize only canned or dry-packaged ingredients, and can be made using a campstove, wood stove or BBQ grill. Most are made in a single pan or pot. Perfect not only for Y2K, but your next camping trip, too! Helga has created 30 dinners, which we will be posting randomly on the camp website one at a time, from now until the ball goes dark in Times Square. Be sure to bookmark the site and check back often. Our current menu features Chicken and Dumplings and VERY, Very Rich Chocolate Pudding. You haven't lived, though, until you've tried Helga's Roasted Stuffed Spam (coming soon!).
