Read this post on another prep board. Wondering if anyone has any futher info on this...

Last night on channel 11 TV station, in Little Rock, there was a news report, interview, and the Govenor has/will call out the National Guard for January 1st and 2nd. The Govenor said "just in case" there are any Y2K problems, he assured everyone that the state computers were ok, but the county computers may not be in as good a shape. I didn't watch that channel last night but a friend taped the report for me and I listened to it this morning. Did anyone else from Arkansas here this report?

PS: The Govenor said all 10,000 troops will be out in uniform. Our local National Guard Unit leaves for Kuwait (sp) on October 1st for 4 months.

There was an article in the Democrat-Gazette either yesterday or the day before. It's already rolled off their website or I would post it for you. Cheer up, you're in a pretty good place if things get bad.
