B+W Paper In a Beseler Drum Processing

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Printing & Finishing : One Thread

I would like to process Agfa B+W RC prints in my Beseler "color" drum. I intend on using the chemicals on a one shot bases (similar to color print process). For the one shot developer, I would like to use Dektol , Does anybody have a suggestion on the dilution and time? Same question about the fixer? Any comments about this idea is welcome!! Thank You

I would use the Dektol at the same dilution and time as for tray processing. You will use less chemistry in the drum, so you will get some savings there.

For the fix, I would not one shot the fix. I would use the rapid fix method of using film strength fix in two baths. The second bathcould be in a tray.
