OT (not really): Walter, oh no, not you too?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

The following is a quote from Walter Cronkite, a powerful globalist who believes world government is necessary. He plainly states in his book, "If we are to avoid [a World War III] catastrophe, a system of order -- preferably a system of world government -- is mandatory. The proud nations someday will see the light and, for the common good and their own survival, YIELD UP THEIR PRECIOUS SOVEREIGNTY, just as America's colonies did two centuries ago. When we finally come to our senses and ESTABLISH A WORLD EXECUTIVE AND A PARLIAMENT OF NATIONS. ..." [p. 128, A Reporter's Life]

Cronkite's remarks reflect the agenda of the NWO. National sovereignty is destined to fail. And *it is likely to come about through the actual FAILURE of NATIONS*.

OR,

Tell Wally to read the following web and then come back and explain to us why a NWO will "save" us. Perhaps if one enjoys slavery then one can rightly say so.

Why would a world govt. be any worse than what we already have? Is it becasue we Americans are so much more evolved and wonderful than other human beings? Yea we showed our evolvement with our treatment of Native Americans and Africans. Oh yes, we really cared for our environment too! The fastest erosion and deforestation in history. Course we made lots of money doing it. Now that our oil, soil, and timber are about used up we are getting poorer fast. Give up this myth about how great we are because we're Americans. One other thing...freedoms disappear when population gets too big and resources too small...we abused our freedoms. The survivors need to understand history, not mouth self aggrandizing myths.

Sand,

You really must read the info on the website. Don't know for sure but I would guess you are a victim of "mind control".

I've spent time with my nephews around a campfire talking about America and the way things are and the way this country was founded etc. The response from them was..."They never told us about that in school."

Go to this website and study it! Maybe it will strike a cord...maybe not.

"God blast the New World Order."

By the way it is not Americans, you and I, who are at fault for the things done, it is "them", THE CONTROLLERS OF "THE SYSTEM".

As things stand these days, a World Government would be a pathetic thing. Hindus would forbid consumption of beef. Israelis, the consumption of pork. America would forbid homosexuality anywhere. Moslems would enforce worldwide purdah. China would ban the Catholic Church, and forbid immigration restrictions (except for Hong Kong). Sweden would insist on cradle-to-grave security for all. Russia would demand a living wage for every citizen, or else. Chile and Peru would demand the legalization of every drug derived from indigenous vegetation. Afghanistan would forbid women in the workforce.

Everybody would be miserable. Fuggeddaboudit!

And the New World Order Government would forbid everything else except eating enough to keep you alive so that you may work and work and work and work and work and work and work for the NEW WORLD ORDER SYSTEM CONTROLLERS!

However, I suppose that they would allow you some procreation time if you were able to pay the...TAX. (NEED NEW FLESH TO MAN THE PRODUCTION LINE.) And you qualified as a REPRODUCER!

One needs only to read about the other systems of the world or travel and see the other countries and their "wonderful" lifestyles to appreciate this country. We so easily expect and accept electricity and water etc that we assume everyone else has it. We expect freedom of our own activities accept it as normal. It isn't normal everywhere! And whether you like it or not every generation has to buy that responsibility with their service and blood to keep free. Nothing is ever free-someone has to pay. If you elect Uncle Sam to pay you must be willing to give up part of your freedom. Although I am a depression baby I remember enough of it and WWII to remember the sacrifice my relatives and neighbors had to pay. It was with blood and sacrifice - not glib words and classroom rhetoric!

Isn't it funny how we tend not to appreciate what we have until it is lost?

There is an impressive looking statue in Wash D.C. in front of the National Archives Building. It is of what looks like a roman warrior seated with his helmet in one hand and a sword in the other. The warrior has a gaze of looking off into the distance.

engraved under the statue are these words: THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS VIGILANCE.

Sand, did you and your family personally sanction the atrocities committed on the natives of this country? Did they have a hand at the other issues you are alluding to? If so, then we understand your remorse. If not, then why are you carrying the guilt of the perpetrators, and why are you attempting to dump it on *the collective American populace*? This country was not founded on the belief in pilfering and mass robbery, raping and annihilation. It indeed may have evolved into that, but I guarantee you, it has not been sanctioned by the majority. The business of 'our oil, soil and timber' being used up also belongs to the same moneyed elite agenda. Get yourself educated. Take New Zealand for instance. Planned forests intended for harvest are common, profitable and sustainable. The soil being used up has everything to do with the elite propaganda about mono cropping and it's benefits. They forgot to tell the farmers that it not only rapes the soil of needed nutrients, but it creates weakened soil which is vulnerable to pests...thus you have an entire market for artifical fertilizers and pesticides, and an eroding top soil to boot. All for profit, only who is making that profit? Not your local farmer. Educate yourself.

Our oil reserves. Well, what can I say. They have gone by the wayside. Large wells have been capped, long before their usefulness has ebbed. It is a function of many eco-political facets that I cannot fully understand, except to say that we have not even come close to using up our subterranean fossil fuel deposits.

A population gets too large and freedoms are abused...gawd, it sounds like you have been indoctrinated already. Let's make it simple. People on the government dole are not part of this abuse of freedoms, they are a creation of the government. You cannot have a parasite without a willing host. Anything to do with the law, is also not part of abused freedoms, as this is also a fraud on the populace in the form of polluted and diluted truth in constitutional (common)law, which is, for the most part, no longer observed.

So much information, so little time for dissemination. You ain't seen nuthin' yet.
