Sounds great. Where's the house? What does it look like? Is Betty Jo excited?

-- Joe Buechler (jbuechler@toad.net), July 21, 1999.

The house is located off of upper Union Street on Woodland Ave.,, right next to Central Park. It's a quiet residential street, but a block and a half away you have all the stores you could want. Joe, that's the street the Seeley's live on.

Anyway, downstairs is a living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath and family room. The living room has a fireplace, beautiful oak, and the family room in the back has sliding glass doors that lead out onto a deck. The stairs leading upstairs is a beautiful oak bannister.

Upstairs has three bedrooms and a full bath. Built-in cupboard in the hall that is a linen closet. Built-in cupboard in the full bath for towels, washcloths and such.

Is Betty Jo excited? I think it's hard to tell; she's barely talking to me. She's probably overwhelmed with finding a lawyer, house inspector, making appointments with the bank in addition to her full job etc. You know how these house transactions go. STRESS time. Moms go away!

Remember the house I bought years in East Greenbush? The family who owned it was also named Hoffman. Common name but still a coinsidence.

Do they have a target move in date?

-- Jeanne Rando (jeannerando@earthlink.net), July 28, 1999.

Target date? Sometime in September. You know how closings go. Takes 6 to 8 weeks.

Remember 13 years ago when we had this house built, the anticipation, excitement and you are overwhelmed at all there is to do. I'm really happy for them. They really deserve such a beautiful home. I can't wait to see it. I worked with a fellow who lived on that street for some 35 years and sold it last year. He did a lot of upgrades on that home too. The area is really beautiful and Betty Jo and Ray can go for walks in the park, listen to the concerts and rally enjoy. God's blessings on them and their new home.
