Should home-canned juices be boiled?

We are canning Nanking cherry juice using the water bath method. I know that you should boil canned veggies, etc. that have been pressure canned for 15 - 20 minutes before you eat them to combat bot bacteria, but what about the juices from apples, cherries, etc

Steve-

Technically, you should boil anything that is home-canned, whether it is water-bathed or pressure-canned. On the other hand, I've eaten peaches and pears straight from the jars and have drunk tomato juice from jars for years with no adverse effect. I'm not planning on boiling these types of home-canned items--but then, that's my choice and others may choose to boil everything.

How's that for saying both 'yes' and 'no' in the same paragraph?! Hope that helps. Linda
