Will you listen to THIS???

"According to the Record Eagle, Soldiers also will take in a land navigation course and will practice taking over and securing an area where they face dissenters and people begging for food and money.'

'Disenters'? Begging for food and money. They will turn the troops on DISSENTERS beging for food and money. What will these people be dissenting. NOT HAVING FOOD AND MONEY.

Gee, that is a real good reason to turn troops on them. Let's see. DO NOT warn the population that they need to prepare. Call them HOARDERS if they DO prepare. And when the shit hits the fan have a plan to turn the MILITARY on them when they are dissenting NOT HAVING FOOD OR MONEY. They are not DISSENTING politically. His comment make absolutely plain that they will attack HUNGRY PEOPLE as a result of the consequences of Y2K. *CALLING* them dissenters does not make them dissenters in the common use of the word. It just allows them a rationale to kill hungry masses. "Yup, the wuz dissenters an' we killed 'em." For the first time in history the government is planning to use the Federal army to attack the citizens of the United state because of the consequnces of Y2k.

For God's sake If you do not see what is going on by now, you are dead from the neck up.

How can a legitimate government make plans to train with foreign governments to turn troops against the unfed and hungry population and AT THE SAME time NOT warn them to prepare?

We are deeply deeply enscrewed.

Foreign Troops and National Guard Preparing for Y2K

Grayling, Michigan was the location for a unique training exercise called the Partner Challenge 1999, which took place during the weekend of June 18th and ended Tuesday, June 22. Three states and three European countries were in the middle of peacekeeping games as they trained at Camp Grayling. It couldn't be better, said Col. Joe McDowell of the Michigan National Guard - quoted in the Traverse City Record Eagle, June 19th. To bring people in (from) three states and three different countries and have everything jell perfectly is just amazing.

According to the Record Eagle, Soldiers also will take in a land navigation course and will practice taking over and securing an area where they face dissenters and people begging for food and money. The response that Col. Hull refers to was referred to by Deputy Secretary of Defense John Hamre in his memo to the various military departments in February 1999. It is also referred to in the Department of Defense Directive .1 - Military Support to Civil Authorities. The documents have been referred to by Deputy Secretary of Defense John Hamre and the Federal Emergency Management Agency for response to Y2K consequences.

Col. Hull also stated that the national guard is prepared to activate state military emergency operations center and joint military operations. We have developed a special national guard response plan for Y2K. Conducting exercises with foreign troops to handle dissenters begging for food and money may be due to the fact that Deputy Secretary of Defense John Hamre stated that the armed forces and reserves would fulfill their first responsibility of meeting war-fighting abilities before providing military support to civil authorities. Col. Hull stated that the National guard is federally funded, trained by the federal government and all of the equipment is owned by the federal government...The president can federalize the guard and use them however he wants.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has said that the Federal Response Plan operations will be functional through the Y2K conversion period. The Department of Defense Memo dated, February 22, 1999 defines the transition period to be from September 1, 1999 - March 31, 2000. In the event of a major disaster requiring a national response on behalf of FEMA, the U.S. Army would be the executive agent. According to Col. Hull, there is a plan with the department of Army for a Y2K event on a national level. The Army has a plan to use the National Guard. The national guard would be federalized for the Army to use them.

In response to problems in Michigan, Col. Hull stated that an Executive order already has been typed up for the State to declare either an emergency or disaster for a fast response. Public act 390 - Michigan Emergency Management Act explains the powers of the governor and the consequences of disobeying his orders. Describing the Guard's view of the Y2K problem, Col. Hull stated We do not know the level of this man-made emergency. Franklin Frith has contacted various individuals with the National Guard and will provide more information in the near future.

Looks like the Feds know something we don't.

BTW, dissent was SACRED when the Left was at it. When the Left is in power, it is an executable offense.

I hope they're "just visiting." If I recall, FWOW, Grand Rapids and Detroit are on the list of 120 cities that they would focus on should things start to unravel.

Living in Michigan, but my last name is not "McVeigh" ;-)

For all forum readers: ---- As I said on another thread just moments ago. The more you read and understand what Paul Milne posts the greater your chances are of surviving this Y2K thing. Just don't make the possibly fatal mistake he has made for himself and his family.

Every word of this has been posted on this Forum before. Franklin Frith himself started at least one thread on TimeBomb2000 recently. What will they do first, starting September 1, 1999? Fine line regulations limiting cash withdrawal? Yes, it's amazing info, add it to Eugene & Kali & other openly posted Emergency Ordinance legislation, and zee pattern takes a bit of form in the fog ...

This was published on Franklin Frith's webpage at www.y2kcoming.com (click on press releases for the story). As far as I know, F. Frith is the originator of the article, and I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Since the Record-Eagle (www.record-eagle.com) is a daily newspaper, I suggest all who are interested to get on the horn Sunday evening an call them to verify this story. There is no reference to such an exercise taking place at Grayling on the Record-Eagle website, either from their Y2k section, a Y2k search, or the search of the name McDowell.

Confirmation is key when dealing with stories of this nature.

Well Paul, let's see. They will *need* to slap the starving clueless BECAUSE, they neglected to alert them to the need for preparation. OR.....did they neglect warning the clueless, so that they COULD round 'em up and slap 'em silly?

So sad we have an administration that would even remotely cause anyone to ponder this, isn't it? What DO our military forces think about this brilliant contingency plan?

Oh what a tangled web they weave, when first they practice to deceive.

Never forget the sterling statement made by our Commander in Chief,

"cowering in churches waiting for the world to end....determined to buy desert land and hoard gold, bullets and Skoal in their pickup trucks."

Isn't that guy just a SCREAM?

You mean this hasn't been covered before? I should've posted this in my first response regarding this thread.

There was a TV news story back in June. WXMI, (Grand Rapids, MI) Channel 17, FOX News at 10:00. It was covered by local reporters. They had the NG and the UN guys working side by side in the woods. The story claimed that they were teaching UN participants peacekeeping tactics and manuevers. It was about the length of a commercial, about 20-30 seconds, so it went by rather quickly.

Gaylord is north of the major metropolitan areas; it's not as secluded as the Northern Peninsula, but it's off the beaten path compared to most places south of Lansing.

They also have the Selfridge Air Force Base, but according to newspaper articles, they scaled down their operations.

I'm not surprized. They have that big ELF grid up north (I'm in the lower SW part of the state) buried underground, which allows submarines to receive low frequency communications by emitting pulses to travel through specific layers of rock underground, thus minimizing the need for the submarines to surface in order to receive orders. The environmentalists made a big stink about it when it was on the board and in the proposal stages, so I can assure you that this is not something made up.

I've heard buzz of concern over terrorists sabotaging the system, but there's so much noise out there that its hard to figure out what to believe.

Just sharing my experiences, so take it for what it's worth.

Hey "thinkican", Paul hasn't risked anything. Anyone stupid enough to try to get to him or his stash will just get their head blown off. And rightly so.

Anyway, who the hell CARES if the gov. turns on people begging for food or money in Y2K??? Do YOU want to be the one to deal with them instead? If they were stupid enough not to prepare, then they get what they deserve. If the gov. takes 'em out, that's just one less problem for me.

-- (pollys@gonna.die), July 25, 1999.

Pollys ---- Have you really thought this question thru. if, just if a couple of thousand, or even a couple of hundred completely desparate people show up at Milne farm, just how much blasting do you think he is going to be able to do. If the National Guard desided to go in there and get all that food for the masses, just how much blasting do you think Paul Milne and family could do. Yes it is quite possible that he has made a fatal mistake by letting the world know he is so well prepared. At this stage of the Y2K thing we should be learning from other peoples mistakes. Remain invisible, do not let people know you are preparing, spend some time thinking how you can blend in when the going gets bad, or how you can disappear when the going gets bad. Give this problem some serious thought. There is more to preparing than just buying some rice and spam. LOL

-- thinkIcan (thinkIcan@make.it), July 25, 1999.

This seems pretty straightforward. If government troops fire on a mob attacking your neighbor, they are attacking hungry people. If they fire on the same mob attacking *you*, they are protecting individual rights. Nothing like situational ethics, eh?

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), July 25, 1999.

geez .. who knows FOR SURE if this article wasnt made up??? i wouldnt be surprised if it were .. but it IS a bit extreme. i certainly wouldnt make any big changes in my preparedness plans based upon an unverified article.

-- lou (lanny1@ix.netcom.com), July 25, 1999.

I have sent an e-mail to Franklin Frith asking him to post comments to this thread regarding his article (which was quoted by Paul at the beginning of this thread).

-- RUOK (RUOK@yesiam.com), July 25, 1999.

FYI:

Frith making up articles: I have conducted over 70 presentations to local governments, community groups, public hearings and churches. I would not risk my credibility making up an article that could be easily verified. Over and above this. My yeah's are yeah and my nay's are nay. (I will not be untruthful in presenting data).

Validity of the Traverse City Record Eagle referred to in my PRESS RELEASE dated July 7, 1999: The Story ran in the Traverse City Record Eage on Saturday, June 19, 1999 - P.1C and continued on P.2C - titled: Soldiers play peace, not war games in Grayling - International games teach Baltic nations about the National Guard in the U.S. - by Dan Sanderson, Record Eagle Staff Writer.

The article stated that troops from Michigan, Maryland and Pennsylvania along with troops from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia took "in a land navigation course and will practice taking over and securing an area--where they face dissenters and people begging for food and money."

I contacted a MAJOR at Camp Grayling (Public Relations) and verified this article. The statements in the article were never disputed. I verified it myself.

I took the pictures personally that were included in my Press Release dated July 7, 1999.

I issued the July 7th Press Release for the following reasons:

1. Department of the Army and the Air Force issued a one page document dated 19 May 1994 - subject: National Guard State Partnerships with Emerging Democracies. This document (I have a copy) stated over 5 years ago that Michigan is a partner with Latvia - Maryland is a partner with Estonia and Pennsylvania is a partner with LIthuania which confirms the information in the Traverse City Record Eagle article and the fact that these troops would train together.

2. I attended the Michigan State Police Y2K Regional Symposium on June 23, 1999. All quotes mentioned in my July 7th release were exact quotes. The statements made by Col Dennis Hull, Emergency Management Coordinator for the MIchigan National Guard were made in front of at least 200 local government officials.

3. I know first hand that there is training for Civil Unrest due to Y2K. There is a civil disturbance drill taking place this August 7-8 at Ft. Custer in Augusta, Michigan. I was invited by a MILITARY POLICE RESERVE BRIGADE TO CONDUCT A Y2K BRIEFING WHICH WAS LATER CANCELLED BY HIGHER AUTHORITY.

I hope that this clarifies some of the remarks made by some individuals today. I hope that God Almighty has mercy on all of us and that the TRUTH be known. There is a significant amount of information that I have that demonstrates the END GAME STRATEGY of the Federal Government and the United Nations to MITIGATE Y2K Consequences. (very important that people understand what is happening)

Congress has an incredible ability to pass stupid laws that are not needed and to fail to recognize the need for new laws until after a disaster happens. Write your congressman now. Support legislation to prohibit the use of foreign troops on American Soil and/or make it illegal for foreign troops to fire at unarmed civilians. Does this not violate the Civil Rights of Americans? If discrimination is a violation of civil rights, surely shooting them should be too. What is this country coming to? Will the Constitution be suspended? I am not proud to be an American any more. It is no wonder that most foreigners hate Americans.

Once again, information comes out that screams to me that if you don't want to have your food looted, 1) bury most of it, and 2) bury a lot of it off your property 1 or more miles away. (Barbed wire fences, disretion before & after 1/1/2000, turning away all comers in 2000, and having firearms do not hurt your prospects, either). Reading Sorokin (Man and Society in Calamity) really should be considered the minimum requirement for participating in a discussion on this (important) topic.
