Well, naturally,having just moved into a trailer, I went directly to Flat Roofs- The most Important Facts Here. It came up "Never Never Never Own A Flat Roof."Reminds me of the How to Fix Anything Book which told me :try a plunger, then a snake, then call a plumber !Like, thanks for nothing.
All kidding aside, this looks like a lot of info and links for the not so handyperson.

The building where I work is flat and the roof is constantly under repair. I have seen a lot of mobile homes with a separate free standing roof over the whole house. If you plan on living in your mobile home for a long time, the roof shed will probably be worth it.
