L.L. Bean Big Easy Pack

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Travelite.FAQ Packing Guide : One Thread

A recent flyer on book packs from L.L. Bean listed the "Big Easy Pack." It looks like it might do well as a travel light bag and I wondered if anyone had opinions on it. The pack has shoulder straps and a waist band that hide away, shoulder strap and handle. It is 16"H X 21"W X 7"D & $60. Don't know the cubic inches. There is a compartment at the bottom and it is made of ballistic nylon. I don't know how the top closes or what the inside is like though the photo show some organizer pockets under the top flap. Thanks for your help! Katherine

L.L. Bean said the flyer had a typo and the dimensions were really 16" X 16" X 7". Cubic inches was around 1700. I'd still like to hear from someone who has tried one! Thanks, Katherine
