Any ideas where to find amorphous silicon plates? they can be used to make your own solar panels.

In a hurry but Thomas Register listing of manufacturers should have what you seek. Unknown if link available but there's always the hardbound version in the reference section of library. Robert, can you shed a little more light on building your solar panels? Moderate difficulty? Any links? Thanks.

Well, I don't know much about the process at this point. I am in contact by email with a NGO in the UK that has a project teaching people in third world countries how to build their own solar panels and batteries; there is even a microenterprise component where they teach people how to convert battery powered radios to solar powered and then stake them with capital to get started. They have promised to send me info by mail, and suggested I look for a US supplier of the product, which is what I am doing while waiting for their information to arrive.
