Seeds For Dry Land Farming

Gardeners in dry areas may find two seed companies of interest for crops that are drought tolerant. One is the Vermont Bean Seed Co. (Garden Lane, Fair Haven VT 05743), which has garbanzo beans red peanut beans. The other is Native Seeds/SEARCH 526 N.4th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705, which has a variety of native heirloom drought resistant beans, corn, squash, etc.

Does anyone have any other sources for nonirrigated crops for dry areas?

Hey Seraphima....Don't forget the lowly " sweet-potato" it is drought tolerant. An added bonus to growing sweetpotatoes is the they don't require much soil nutrient. Actually over fertilizing them can deter production. Great Beta-Carotene source as well.
