Did anyone in the Seattle area notice the chemtrail-type criss-crossing trails in the sky last night? They were very low, and didn't disappear (like a normal contrail) but spread out into a "herringbone" type pattern until there was complete cloud cover. I hung around and watched them for a long while, after I saw a couple pointing up at them in a parking lot and puzzling over them. Truly weird!

I'm non-commital on what precisely is going on with these, but something strange is happening. I didn't see the planes that left them, but they were definitely artificial - you could see how they crossed over eachoter at angles, like normal contrails only there were more of them - just like the photos that others have posted here and elsewhere. I'm not experiencing any "respiratory distress," but it's creepy that this is going on in plain sight and the media is pretending it's not happening. It's like the "emperor's new clothes."

As for the ostriches who are going to yell, "off topic!", I assert that the coverup of this experimentation (if that's what it is) has a great deal of bearing on the Y2k situation. LIES are what make Y2k as dangerous as it is.

While this isn't the right place to put this, i think we need a new category of people. I'm definitely not a polly, but I'm not a doomer either.....but i suspect most people that have been labeled either, are closer to the middle.

are these "chemtrails" just in large population areas? I've never seen any out of the ordinary in my rural area. I do believe something could be up tho- too many reports of them.

as i said in my post above, listen to the guest (forget his name) on the show, he seems to have all the angles covered... i've heard several theories but the anthrax one keeps cropping up... look at what's happening in the military - compulory vaccination, many are leaving rather than go through it as there are many many dangers - the antidote is worse than the poison etc.

I SAW THEM!!! i SAW THEM!!!

I was driving south on Aurora going past Washelli when I saw them. I started thinking about this board and the people who are freeked out over them. Knowing what they are and what causes them, I wondered if those were what people were talking about.

I have seen them all my life, but then my Dad was in the Airforce and I was also so it was natural that they do not hold any "sinister" meaning to me.

Those "sinister contrails" you are talking about are nothing more than the exaust from military jets. They use water in their afterburners for added boost when taking off and they fly higher than commercial aircraft for safety reasons and because that is where they normally fly. We have had them over Seattle forever, you probably never even thought about them before they were brought to your attention.

As the water in the vapor trail dissipates it spreads in the air currents at that altitude which are different than the way the wind blows here at a lower leval.

When there are conflicts that the military is involved in then there is more practice so you see more of them. Hope this eases your mind :o)

There were also "chemtrails" back in May. There were reports about the hospitals and Dr. offices in Portland. Oregon being filled to overflowing. A few days later, everyone (including me) was sick as the proverbial dog for approx. 48 hrs. My workplace was decimated. Everybody had the same symptoms. I couldn't move for the first day or so.

When I scheduled my Dr. appoinment, his secretary seemed to know all about it. I was directed to go to the pharmacy and get a prescription for a drug I'd never heard of-it came in a plastic package with just 5 pills in it. It was surprisingly cheap. After the first pill, I had almost immediate relief, but was told rather forcefully to adhere to the schedule on the package by both the Dr. and the pharmacist. There were also ads in the paper soliciting people with respiratory problems to participate in a new program-receive free exams and implying one would receive a new experimental drug if you "qualified".

I have seen the same "herringbone" pattern-most recently this last weekend down by Centralia, Wash.

With all due respect, what do your sightings have to do with the geometric contrails that have been discussed? I spent many years in the military and never observed any geometric contrail patterns. Did I mention that during my 10 years of service, jet aircraft were the exception. You are correct in your explaination of a vapor trail but a criss-cross pattern would lean towards a created scenario, the purpose of which is up for speculation.

The herringbone started out looking sort of colon-shaped: a solid middle line with regular symmetrical bulges. Then it was like a fish bone, then a sky full of haze, then solid cloud cover all night burning off this morning and afternoon. Water vapor doesn't do that; it disappears really quickly. The regular bulges/bone shapes would suggest a kind of regular puffing or cycling as it came out.

Not sick yet. Though I did get sick in May; I'm one of those people that is sick about one day a year on average, and I was down with a fever for four days and could hardly move - I haven't been that sick since I was a boy. I wasn't aware of this back in May. I wonder if I'm "innoculated" already...

I've seen these contrails here in the northern suburbs of Washington DC in the recent past (April,May,June) but not since. We have a credible source of info in this area who is of the opinion that these are weather modification experiments and I have heard this before from others.

Rubberneck: Call the local hospitals and ask if there has been any increase in respiratory emergencies during the past week. Then visit the hospitals and see for yourself if the respiratory ward seems to be full to capacity. If so, report it to your local newspapers as something that they can verify for themselves by visiting the hospitals. If you see more trails videotape them or take timeseries photographs. Contact the FAA while the trails are still in the sky and see what they have to say about it. Then report the whole thing to every website that is collecting information about this phenomenon.

Cherri, dear, do tell us how many contrails you have seen that:

start, stop, start, stop, start, stop - kinda like a dash dot dash dot pattern?

Then do tell how many you have seen:

that spread out into large herringbone patterns, but do not disperse like the contrails of my youth. (Raised in family who were all pilots, dad owned airport, spent alot of time in the air myself.)

Oh, and do tell about both of the above at about 10,000 feet while the regular jet aircraft are busily flying quite normally above these things.

I have seen it. The normal jet aircraft can been seen far above traveling and emitting normal contrails that dissipate in a normal and usual fashion, and underneath are these oddball slim 'start and stop' 'contrails' that act totally different from that of the live aircraft above.

Please do not insult my intelligence by saying it must be the wind patterns.

Go ahead and give it your best shot.

By the way, I live in a small town in the rocky mountains. This topic was presented to our town council. We are having a speaker come to make a presentation about this phenomenon in the next few weeks.
