Should the POS vendors be part of the community?

Can we provide value to the POS vendors by giving them access to the community?

If it gets them to cooperate more with development and troubleshooting, all the better. I don't know what functions they would be interested in yet. Any ideas? Perhaps we can have the trouble ticket and other store service stuff there.

Only if they pay a rate that makes it profitable for us.

I like Amy's idea for troubleshooting. It also could be used for ideas for new functionality provided by the stores. Also, perhaps for stores looking for systems with specific functionality.
