I realize this may have been a really boring entry for you all, and I apologize. It's something that I needed to write about, and needed to get off my chest. I haven't had the greatest faith in my relations with Carl lately, and this was something that helped me feel much, much better. What situations have you been in that you feel like everything is shot to hell, but something happens and everything is okay?

I had not seen my ex-husband for a very long time. He is not suppose to be able to see his daughter, but I allowed it as long as I was there. He dropped to one knee, took my hand, kissed it, and told me how proud he was of me. What a wonderful job I was doing with our daughter. It was corny, but it meant alot to me.

My girlfriend slipped a sweet card into my backpack the other day. Unfortunately, she put it somewhere I rarely look, so she had to tell me it was there. It was the sweetest thing! Little things like that mean the most.:)

I'm always afraid of being sucky, so I try to stay cool at all times. As a result, most of my friends have no idea how much I appreciate them. Fortunately, one of my friends is more in tune with me, and after behaving like a bit of an asshole toward him one day when I was feeling insecure, I called him up to apologize, which, by the way, is something I find VERY difficult to do and avoid whenever possible. He knew that my apologizing was a big deal, and invited me over so I knew right away there were no hard feelings. I had been agonizing over it all day, but all of a sudden everything was all right. That was cool.
