I lost my link for an online supplier of Alladin lamps. Can anyone help me with online suppliers? Ace Hardware has a supply in, but they are priced quite a big higher. I can't remember the name or link for that supplier. Thanks!

try www.beprepared.com this is for Emergency Essentials- they have the best Alladin prices I've seen anywhere- including mantles, chimneys, etc. shipping is ten bucks no matter how much you order from them. I've been pleased with their service.

Get a Petromax lantern instead. It burns dang near any liquid fuel including any fuel that the Aladdin would burn, is way more rugged and puts out the equivalent of a 400 W bulb. The folks at Britelyt.com or Petromax.com can help you. Much more for the bucks I think.

The Petromax works well but it must be pumped up and pre-heated every time you want to use it. I have one that I use when camping and for outside applications. Just would not want in on my kitchen table if given the choice.

The Petromax gives off a lot more heat - good or bad depends where you live and the time of year.
