Value of Three Lamps (Occupied Japan figurines)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Exchange: A Forum for Antiques and The Arts : One Thread

I'd like to know the possible worth of three lamps that were given to me. They were supposedly custom made in the 1940s. There's one larger lamp (about 18 inches high) and two matching smaller lamps (about 12 inches high). The Victorian looking figurines on each lamp have what looks like a lord and lady in courtship. They're quite intricately detailed. The bisque-looking figurines are labeled Occupied Japan. There is an intricate looking brass trim on the bases of the lamps, and the shades to all three are quite unusual in shape....narrow at the top and fluting wider at the bottom with interesting fabric trim. They're quite attractive. Can you give me any information on possible worth? I don't use them and have them carefully stored away. Thanks for any help you can give me.
