I saw the front-end of Bennett's report...what a load of horse-shit. What does he care, LDS is prepared for more than a bump in the road anyway.

Get off the LDS case. The only reason that I prepared as much as I did is the kind advice I received from two LDS families in our Homeschooling Association.

Look...Take the Senators at their word...the mission critical systems were only on average 9% of total systems. NO ONE is going to spend TEN TIMES what has already been spent. Those systems will be "turned off" and we will learn to live with it. Pity those employees whose jobs were supported by the 91% of the systems...no more paychecks, and since their skills are now truly obsolete, many will NEVER work again.

LDS preps have NOTHING to do with Y2K, and EVERYTHING to do with surviving a DEPRESSION!

Does anyone know of a C-SPAN rebroadcast? I just read the post now (next day) and know that C-SPAN often rebroadcasts programs. If anyone knows of a date/time of a rebroadcast, it would be much appreciated!
