Autoreflex T

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

Just inherited a Konica camera Autoreflex T and it has the standard lens AR52mm. I will be looking for a more wide varity of lenses and need to know what to look for as to the mount. Lenses I might be looking for would be two zooms 28-80 and 70-200 that should cover most of my shooting. Did Konica make lenses in this range or do I need to look at aftermarket. Now the big question --- how much should I expect to pay for used lenses in good condition remembering that I only shoot for personal enjoyment and high quaility is not an issue.Just alled a local camera store and they have a Tokina 80-200 4.5 ex. con. $95.00 Is that about what I should expect to pay? thank you and wish me luck finding lenses.--------- Bob

Konica Lenses

Bob,

Many Konica users seek the Hexanon lenses which are, across the board, excellent. They command more dollars, generally, than the second-maker lenses.

For example, I found a 28-85mm f4 Tokina in a Vienna, VA camera store for $59 in perfect condition. This is a "K/AR" (Konica/Autoreflex) prime mount, not an interchangable mount lens. O use this lens a lot and am very satisfied with it.

I'd suggest that you take a cruise through eBay to get an idea of what's available and the going prices (bearing in mind that it's an auction and things get crazy sometimes). For an equivalent 80-200mm, I believe that you can do better than $95.
