Gagh...Y2K supplement in today's National Post (canada)greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
What a crock of horse manure. The premise of the lead article (yawn), 9999 wasn't a problem, therefore 00 will be all smiles, happyfaces, and sugar plums. Well folks, the experts on this site I spoke with for the last 6 months has said:-fiscal year rollover won't be a problem (wasn't)
-9999 won't be a problem (wasn't)
-2000 will be a problem
Must say, the supplement is a good read just to see how hard it is to write 'nothing'. Maybe everyone at the Post is into Zen???

I seem to be surrounded by people who have time-machined back to the year 1999 from 8000 years hence... anybody from 1999 still posting?
