We are interested in modeling some Southern MOW equipment. We have some pictures of wreck cranes; but we need some photos or descriptions of the paint schemes for the converted coaches, RPO's, Baggage cars and other equipment converted to MOW service. Joseph--the Southern Railway Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment from Morning Sun Pubs. has some nice color photos of MOW equip. However, most of these appear to be from the later years. Prior to 1951 MOW equip was silver with black lettering, after which it was painted black with yellow or white lettering.
