The Amphora Porcelain Works was one of several companies which made pottery in Bohemia circa late Nineteenth and early Twentieth centuries. These wares are referred to as "Teplitz," as they were manufactured in the Teplitz-Turn area.

An Amphora vase featuring two women gathering wheat is listed as $330 in "Kovels' Antiques & Collectibles Price List 1998" (Three Rivers Press, Crown Publishers, 201 East 50th St., New York, N.Y., 10022, $14.95, paperback).
