ISO and PMK development time for FP4+

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I would appreciate reccomendations for the ISO and development time for Ilford FP4_ and PMK. I intend to start with the data included in the Blinkineye chart. The primary subject matter will be landscapes with 35 mm

Thanks

Run your Personal Exposure Index test for film and printing and you will have the answer to your questions. Pat

In Gordon Hutchings "The Book of Pyro", Hutchings recommends the following starting times for FP4 (EI 80-100) Normal Development 10 minutes @ 70F N+1 13 minutes @ 70F N-1 8 minutes @ 70F (+1/3 stop exposure)

Hope this gives you a starting point, but seriously you really need to test your film and processing.
