I have a few of his pieces. Are they valuable?

According to "Kovels' Antiques and Collectibles Price List 1998" (Three Rivers Press, Crown Publishers, 201 East 50th St., New York, N.Y., 10022, $14.95, paperback), Brastoff (d. 1993) had his own factory in Los Angeles, Calif., from 1953-73. He made ceramics, enamels on copper and plastics.

Prices range from $1,600 for a Collector's Encyclopedia chess set to $900 for a Percheron Horse figurine, 1950s, to $10 for a "Surf Ballet" cup and saucer in blue.
