Actually, I believe its a greater yellowlegs. My mistake.Canon EOS 3, EF 500/4.5L + EF 2x TC.

Pretty nice shot. Have you considered including the entire reflection of the bird as an alternative (assuming that the reflection isn't obstructed in this case)?

A nice shot, and I think the suggestion about including the entire reflection is a very good one. Good dof, the entire bird is sharp. Pat

Matt, my first thought was the same as Pat's and Shun's. I really want to see more of the reflection, but that may have not been possible. Otherwise it is a sharp, well exposed photo. Thanks for sharing! Donna

This is a full-frame shot, so there is no reflection, but I do have other shots with the reflection. Maybe next week...Thanks for the comments.

I like it as it is, maybe the reflection would be too much?The blue background sets off the plumage nicely. Nice shot.
