Seeking A Movie

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Does anyone have the url to the company selling a sensationalist movie called Y2K: To Kill or something very similar to that? The cover showed suburbanites in polo shirts standing in their driveways around their cars. It was very costly and advertised before it "hit the streets" at the end of August.

Anyone know where one can purchase if it has "hit the streets?"

I could have sworn the link had been from Gary Norths' site but I used the search engone and couldn't find if it did.

The movie is called "Y2K: Year to Kill" and is available from the following:

Premiere Video

Amazon

There might well be others. I found the first by searching Excite for video stores. I naturally checked Amazon since I use them frequently. The latter prices the video at just under $100 (!), which they claim is due to the movie having been targeted for the video rental market. Premiere said to contact them for pricing.

Thank you. Yes, it is Y2K Year To Kill I sought. I was hoping it might be down to the typical 6.99 or 9.99 price tag. Where is Walmart when you need it?

Nothing Hollywood produces is worth a hundred bux. You could buy several nice reference books for that. Or, several hundred pounds of rice.

There was a thread about this movie by Stan Faryna in which he said he had rented it and that he should have used the rental money to buy more beans, it was so bad.
