A. Time of Distribution

Winning shares of the bank shall be disbursed when the team winnings reach $50,000 or in any event not later than September 4, 2000.

In the event a $50,000 goal is reached in the middle of a team trip, the winning shares will be calculated and disbursed (segregated for those not present on that trip) and a new $100,000 bank will immediately be formed with the same guidelines and expiration date.

these figures assume that we will actually put together exactly 100k. perhaps should be rewritten to be a little more general.

also, i don't think the bank should be broken in the middle of a team trip regardless of having met the goal. then we spend too much time in vegas doing book-keeping when we should be playing cards.

i suggest:

"Winning shares of the bank shall be disbursed when the team bank has increased by no less than 50% (since its inception) at the conclusion of any trip or in any event not later than September 4, 2000.

note that we will not be breaking the bank in the middle of a trip regardless of winnings."

B. Formula for Distribution

Approved Team Expenses are deducted from the Gross Win to establish the Net Win.

10% Administrative Share is deducted from the Net Win to establish the Adjusted Net Win.

50% of the Adjusted Net Win is distributed to Investors in proportion with amount invested.

The additional 50% of the Adjusted Net Win is distributed among the Players based on actual time played.

All Counters, regardless of which style of play they are employing will receive full credit for hours played at the full bet range.

Counters who play at levels lower than the full bet ranges, at that time, for whatever reason, shall be paid at a reduced hourly rate in proportion to that of the full rate. Exceptions to this may apply in the event of a special promotional game where it is in the best interest for the player(s) and team to play at such lower levels.

BP's employed will be paid at 50% of the hourly rate.

Miscellaneous Earnings

Any player who wins a tournament (of any sort) which the player entered with no entry fee shall apply the winnings (less estimated taxes) to the team bank. In most cases the player would have received such an invitation solely based on the levels of play resulting in playing to the team bank. Therefore it is expected that if a player elects to accept such an invitation, any winnings be applied to the team. If a player can demonstrate that such an invitation resulted from that players individual play outside of the team bank, then the player shall be permitted to keep any winnings earned from such tournament participation.

All winnings resulting from lmatch playn or lfree moneyn vouchers are considered team winnings.

Players may keep for themselves any free lnon-monetaryn gifts resulting from casino play.

Players who qualify for and receive airfare reimbursement from casinos shall apply such monies to the team.

C. Miscellaneous Winnings Revision (NT)

C. Miscellaneous Earnings. All winnings resulting from match play or free money vouchers or tournament play are for the player to keep. Players may keep for themselves any free non-monetary gifts resulting from casino play.

Players who qualify for and receive airfare reimbursement from casinos may also keep such proceeds.

re: unskilled BP's

BP's employed will be paid at 50% of the hourly rate.

i think that this is way too much. a perusal of BJA chapter one discusses the cost of a spotter. a spotter being a counter. 50% to a spotter would be too much and we're talking about paying this much to someone who can't even count. i'd almost rather be a BP for the team than an actual invested player. much less risk. fabulous pay for no real skills.

most of our spotters & BP's should come from our own crew.

i also feel that anyone authorized to handle team money (a BP) should be required to have an investment in the bank.
